IBSTPI is pleased to welcome Dr. Xiaoman Wang as our newest IBSTPI Scholar!
Dr. Wang is an Assistant Professor of Educational and Instructional Technology at Western Michigan University. Her research focuses on the intersection of technology, teaching, and learning, with particular interests in artificial intelligence in education, information literacy, and the professional competencies of educational technology professionals.
Drawing on an interdisciplinary background in law, business, education, and educational technology, Dr. Wang examines how emerging technologies shape learning and professional practice. Her work also explores how educators and educational technology professionals can develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to navigate evolving technological environments thoughtfully and ethically.
As an IBSTPI Scholar, Dr. Wang joins a growing international community of professionals who collaborate with IBSTPI to advance our initiatives, research, and work surrounding professional competencies and standards.
We are excited to have Dr. Wang continue her engagement with IBSTPI in this new role and look forward to her contributions.
